Just to name a few players that will be playing for the Twins on March 3rd against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Twins have many pitchers on hand so I'll just name a few; Scott Baker, Nick Blackburn, Alex Burnett, Matt Capps, ect. They have three catchers; Drew Butera, Ryan Doumit, and Joe Mauer. They also have several infielders, Jamey Carroll, Alexi Casilla, Luke Hughes, Justin Murneau, Tsuyoshi Nishioka, ect. Finally the outfielders; Oswaldo Arcia, Joe Benson, Darin Mastroianni, Ben Revere, Denard Span, ect.
The first game will be more fun then competition because it's every one's first game back. I really don't know how the game will go, but I do know the Rays are really good. Last year they made it into to the playoffs so we'll see how it goes. The Twins are coming off one of there worst season and it wasn't because they suck it was the fact that so many players were injured.
i hope they do better this year than last year
ReplyDeleteSo do they use differnt pitchers trought the game?
ReplyDeleteWhy are there pre-season games? Why can't teams just start in the real season? How many weeks does the pre-season go?
ReplyDeletei think they will do much better this year!
ReplyDeletewell at least i hope so!
